Detailing involves rejuvenating and protecting various or in some cases all areas of a vehicle. As its name suggests, it is all about the 'detail', and when it comes to our commissions the utmost care is taken by Motorcare to ensure that your vehicle is returned to you in the best possible condition.
Naturally, each customer is normally looking for a specific service when it comes to detailing their vehicle, whether it’s protecting or correcting exterior features, or maintaining the interior. Motorcare has crafted a range of detailing services, one of which is sure to fulfil your needs. If you require something a little more specific, our custom service is always available.
At Motorcare we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled services and to that end all our commission are carried out by our own dedicated detailer Jason, with over ten years experience in preparing and polishing paintwork he is without question one of the finest paintwork correction specialists in the country and once he has finished treating your vehicle the results will need no explanation.
The Detailing Studio
When it comes to carrying out any of our treatments it is essential that all commissions are carried out to the same highest possible standards every time. If we were to try and achieve these standards in conditions that are not suitable, such as trying to battle the harsh elements of the environment and airborne contaminates normally associated with treating cars on driveways or garages, our impeccable standards could be compromised.
To that end our Studio facility provides near clinical conditions for us to achieve the very best finishes we require and you expect from our treatments. The studio has optimal lighting to highlight any defects on your vehicle. It benefits from fully temperature controlled air-conditioning system and has the latest 24hr CCTV security systems and insurance. Giving you totally piece of mind that while your vehicle is with us, it cannot be in safer surroundings.
So taking into account all of the above we recommend that all our commissions are carried at our Studio. However if you can provide a clean indoor area with enough space for us to work freely around your vehicle, then we may carry out our commissions away from our studio with exception to our Paintwork Restoration Treatment. If required we can arrange transportation for any vehicle to and from our studio facility.

Exterior Protection Detail - £300
Whether its to protect the car you've cherished for years or preparing a newly-bought car after purchase, with our excellent protection detailing service your vehicle will receive:1. Multi-Stage lamb's wool mitt wash process including wheel arches and door shuts cleaned.
2. Wheels cleaned with a PH-neutral wheel gel and a horse hair wheel brush.
3. Entire vehicle hand-dried using ultra soft microfibre drying towels.
4. Full paintwork decontamination utilising a clay bar and paint cleanser.
5. Paint depth measurements taken on all exterior painted surfaces.
7. Gloss enhancing Pre-Wax cleanser applied to all exterior painted surfaces.
8. Two layers of Definitive Wax "Marble" or Synthetic sealant applied to all exterior surfaces.
9. All windows and mirrors cleaned and polished.
10. Rain/water repellent treatment to all exterior windows.
11. Wheels waxed and tyres conditioned.
12. Interior surfaces vacuumed, deep cleaned and protected.
13. Leather cleansed and conditioned.Estimated time: 1 day*
Due to complex shapes and body contours Supercars, 4x4`s and extra large vehicles, (Ferrari Enzo, Range Rover and Rolls Royce Phantom etc) may require an extra half day and £150 final cost increase depending on size and condition.

Minor Paintwork Restoration Detail - £600
This treatment is designed for new and used vehicles paintwork which may contain minor paint defects such as light scratches and polishing holograms. As well as providing multiple protective layers to help protect your vehicle from UV ray oxidization, bird etchings, tree sap and the harsh elements of the environment. This treatment also provides your vehicles’ paintwork with exceptional depth, gloss and clarity.1. Multi-Stage lamb's wool mitt wash process including wheel arches and door shuts cleaned.
2. Wheels cleaned with a PH-neutral wheel gel and a horse hair wheel brush.
3. Entire vehicle hand-dried using ultra soft microfibre drying towels.

Major Paintwork Restoration Detail - £950
This treatment is designed for vehicles paintwork which contains major paint defects. Such as swirl marks, dull oxidized paint, light to medium scratches inflicted by poor washing techniques and from airborne contaminates, so when viewed in direct sunlight the appearance of your vehicle will be compromised. Your vehicle will receive an intensive polishing process over a period of at least 30 hours to ensure your vehicles paint is totally defect free and reflects light perfectly.1. Multi-Stage lamb's wool mitt wash process including wheel arches and door shuts cleaned.
2. Wheels cleaned with a PH-neutral wheel gel and a horse hair wheel brush.

- Door sills, door porckets, storage areas, vents and dashboard cleaned thoroughly.
